I am an experienced psychotherapist working in private practice in central Bristol, accredited by the UKCP and BACP.
I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy, which pays attention to how our past has formed who we are now and influences our day-to-day experiences. This way of working allows less conscious feelings and thoughts to emerge and be explored together. Our work would create space to reflect on how we relate to ourselves and others, using our growing therapeutic relationship as a resource for exploration and change.
Creating this kind of environment can help us to understand ourselves more fully. It can open up new perspectives, help us access inner resources and enlarge our narratives and beliefs about ourselves, the world and others. As we develop greater understanding we can experiment with living with more freedom, creativity and compassion, and deepen our connection to ourselves and others.
